Well you probably already are in your field and that's exactly what I am talking about. You have already done all the hard work, all those years of training, making all those mistakes which leads to what's called experience.

Find newsletters, trade magazines, local papers that target your audience and start sending in articles. Don't just email them, if possible pick up the phone and talk to the editors, it is surprising, they can be just as keen to receive an article as you are publishing it.

You can even kill two birds with one stone by creating your web site material and then packaging that up as an article seeing as you have already done all the hard work. If your business is primarily targeted towards your local market, get out there and network, meet people, join clubs. With all this technology doing everything for us these days, its easy to become isolated, but if people can put a face to the name, the chances of you getting business out of them increases markedly.
