Job Description

Experienced MS certified technician to support clients.
Expert troubleshooter

Requirements

Windows 2000/2003 MCP
4 years commercial experience in desktop / server support
Ability to touch type at 40wpm minimum
Must pass technical test (approximate 2 hours)
8.30am to 5.30pm weekdays
Must have own vehicle and license
Must be willing to service clients across the Adelaide metro area
Strong Microsoft server/SBS server experience (2000, 2003)
Must excel at documentation (technical & administration)
Ability to build a PC or server from components
Ability to account for time in 15 min increments
Ability to setup remote desktop connections
Setup securely and fault find wireless networks
Ability to manually remove viruses and spy ware
Setup effective backup systems for customers.
Effectively communicate complex technical jargon into something customers understand.
LAN/WAN connectivity and troubleshooting
Ability to setup a VPN using hardware or MS Server
Ability to comfortably setup a 15 PC network with server from scratch in a domain environment.
Setup and fault find on common Microsoft OS & Business suites (XP, Vista, Office 97 to 2007 etc)
Advanced user knowledge on common Microsoft OS & Business suites (XP, Vista, Office 97 to 2007 etc)
Ability to quote for customers using our in house quoting system
